Creating Blank Hex Maps by Mike Brooks |
|
| This process works with Paint
Shop Pro Version 7. It is untested with any other software. |
Firstly 'Save picture as'
whichever of the small hex patterns (left column) you
choose Then open PSP 7 and create a (new) blank page of a size with which your printer can cope. (I regularly use larger pages for computer work, accepting that printing has to be of selected parts rather than the whole). Using the 'Colours' Menu, select then the 'Patterns' mode (solid right-pointing arrow on the 'Styles' Menu) . Having downloaded the hex of your choice, now open that page. The 'patterns' menu will now add your hex selection to the top of the list. Select that hex as the required pattern. Flood Fill your original blank page. |
